White Sox starter Dylan Cease, a former Cubs prospect, is 0-2 with a 5.91 ERA in two starts against his former team. Take the Cubs.

ANALYSIS: About a month ago, I probably wouldn't have bet against the Mets' Taijuan Walker but he has fallen off a cliff or shrub or whatever your metaphor (do people fall off shrubs?). The Phillies' Zack Wheeler also is regressing a bit but is still a better pitcher. Honestly don't love a lot of games today but this seems safe with the Phils on fire. What do I know? I just watched Beaches with my lovely wife and am still crying ... not gonna cry Roy!

San Francisco RHP Johnny Cueto has a 4.91 ERA and 1.61 WHIP on the road, where opposing batters are hitting .319 against him. The Brewers are 31-14 in day games this season. This will be the Giants' 13th straight contest without a day off. They finally get one on Monday. Take the Brewers.

The Red Sox struggle against lefties and JD Martinez is out of the lineup. The Blue Jays have won eight of their last 10 games while the Red Sox have lost eight of their last 10 games.

Zack Wheeler has been the Phillies best pitcher all season, so he should minimize the innings for the bullpen today. Taijuan Walker has allowed at least four earned runs in each of his last four starts, and he is much worse on the road. Take the Phillies to get the sweep.
